Dr. Rejini Samuel

I've always walked between worlds.

Born in Nigeria to Indian parents, I trained as a medical doctor in Ireland before running away to do a Masters in IT — because I thought computers might be more logical than people. (They're not, by the way.)

That choice set the pattern for my life: following curiosity wherever it leads, even when the path makes no obvious sense to anyone else.

For 25 years, I've been translating complexity into clarity — first as a solutions architect helping enterprises adopt AI and automation, designing systems that actually work. Along the way, I won the Office of the CEO Award for a solution that generated over $1 million in revenue in a single hour. I've built demos, designed SOPs, and helped organizations tell the story of what their technology can do.

But systems aren't just technical. They're also stories. And stories are how I've always made sense of the world.

I've published five novels and a poetry collection under the pen name R.J. Samuel. I write songs, produce music, and perform improv as a guest in shows and with my duo "Invisible" in Atlanta's improv scene. I also teach writing and improv at Studios at Chara Community

And then there's the land.

Seven years ago, I bought 18 acres in Georgia on a leap of faith. Today it's Wild Grace Sanctuary — home to 17 rescue cats, one small dog named Piglet, and Chara Community, a retreat space where creativity, animals, and nature come together to offer something rare: a place to remember who you are.

The common thread? I build things that work. Whether that's an AI platform, a story that breaks your heart open, or a space that helps foster connection.

Almost Irish. Almost Indian. Almost American. Entirely myself.
